Larry & Mandy Renfro

After joining NMSI in October 2003, the Renfro’s began ministry in Malawi in March 2005. Their ministry includes working with orphans, people living with HIV/AIDS, well projects, famine relief and food security, and teaching about the love of Christ. The birth of their first church in July 2007 was a highlight of their ministry.

The Renfros are from Illinois originally, but lived in Florida for 17 years where they raised their family. Larry worked for over ten years for a social services agency. He and Mandy worked for Cookson Hills Children’s Home and did other types of full-time childcare and therapeutic foster care for emotionally disturbed children. Larry has a B.S. degree in Psychology from Clearwater Christian College in Clearwater, Florida. They both have served in many capacities in their home (and sending) church, First Christian Church of Seminole, Florida.
