2010 Summer Internship: Center for Global Outreach (CGO)

The team will learn the ins and outs of short‐term missions and global youth awareness projects working hand in hand with the youthHOPE development team based out of Florida. Interns will participate in at least one overseas short‐term project and will organize and implement a service project for high school students.

Cost: $5000
Dates: May 20 - July 22 Includes pre-field orientation, internship experience and debriefing

Internship—Youth Hope—Malawi

2010 Summer Internship: Malawi

The interns will have the opportunity to serve in one of the world’s poorest countries. The team will help lead youth camps, teach in youth groups, be a part of some agricultural discipleship/community development projects, and will have the opportunity to share about sex and purity in public schools.

Get acquainted with Malawi!

An internship with New Mission Systems International (NMSI) includes pre-field orientation and debriefing which takes place in Florida. Transportation to and from Florida is not included in the summer internship costs.

Internship costs include food, lodging, in-country costs, visa fees, project materials, insurance and airfare from Florida. Internships are budgeted so as to cost the host missionaries nothing.

While all NMSI internships have a different focus on-field, they will all explore what is meant by "living in intentional Christian community."

2010 Internship—Youth Hope—Chile

2010 Summer Internship: Chile

The focus of the 2010 summer youthHope internship team will be on motivating Chilean Christian youth to go out and make disciples of all nations through missions retreats and sharing in public schools. They will also encourage, share, and participate in youth ministry through a variety of other opportunities. The team will be led by a Chilean national who is both fluent in English and Youth Ministry, he is currently the director of training for Youth Specialties Chile.

Internship—Youth Hope—England

Summer Internship: England

Interns serving in England will work alongside missionaries on the field doing relational youth ministry in a variety of different venues striving to make the Church relevant to youth again. Interns will have the opportunity to share in Christian Unions (similar to FCA’s in the states) with both junior and senior high students, encouraging them to live out their faith in very tough secular school environments. Interns will also help lay the foundation for a new church to engage people who aren’t likely to worship with a traditional church.
